Offcuts

Making the initial piece that was inspired by the flower, as I was cutting the shapes, I found that there were a lot of offcuts that came out in a shape that I loved, and I didn't want to throw them away.

I then got the bright idea to tie a rubber rope from one of my old headrests to them to link them together.

Then, in order to connect my offcuts to the rubber string from my headsets, I had to drill holes into them. However, because the holes needed to be larger to fit properly, I had to create my own mandrel out of copper bar.

The offcuts were then painted with black spray paint to make them shiny before being joined together.

I constructed a clasp out of copper and silver after constracting my tire offcuts piece.
