Drawings and Concepts
Design 1
I began drawing my inspiration from the discovered objects utilizing geomatric shapes, experimenting with shapes that can be punctured on the found objects, and experimenting with various bail designs.
Knowing that the found objects are made of steel, there are many things that I won't do to them, such as carve shapes into them.
The finished result will be a different pendant, with one having a textured finish and the other having a smooth finish with shiny surface. Each pendant will be produced in two pieces.
The texture and oxidation will also be applied to the bail for the textured pendant.
Design 2
I would say that my design process began in reverse because after learning how to use paper to form various shapes from the paper mush, I started to get ideas by using the shapes that I had already made. I received these ideas from observing what I had produced via the process of experimenting.
The objects will also be painted, clear resin will be poured inside of them, and gold leaf sprinkles will also be inside to make them pop, as seen in the concept that I provided for how the side and front views will appear. A pair of earrings will be the final product. (earrings with pin)

I was experimenting with my own shapes to see what I could come up with. My approach was more practical than developing a notion on paper.
Silver is the metal I wish to utilize for my paper-based crafts.
