Conrad CP: I'm Conrad Kekana, and I was born on May 5, 2000. I've always been passionate about creation, and my interest in jewelry design and manufacture began in high school. I grew up being influenced by hip hop culture, so when my peers mocked my ability to rap, I saw an opportunity to participate in the culture by producing jewelry. That has allowed me to express my creativity about the culture; I began making and drawing jewelry for my friends who are part of the hip hop culture, such as grills and bling bling jewelry. My educational background in jewelry began in 2019 at the Tshwane University Of Technology where I completed my diploma studies, then at the University Of Johannesburg where I completed my advanced diploma qualification, and now at the University Of Johannesburg where I am currently enrolled for my BAHONS qualification. When I was in my first year, I wanted to be a part of the hip hop culture by making hip hop jewelry, but now that thought has changed and I want to explore other sides of jewelry and push my limits. For me, jewelry has had a significant impact on my life, and every year I gain a new perspective on it.
